Questions churned in the archaeologist detective's mind - 'Murder on the Nile Mystery Cruise'
Daniel approached the churning turmoil of a paddle wheel.
He paused on the deck above the side wheeler housing, felt the bite of the paddles in the water under his feet.
Dig, dig, dig...
That’s exactly what he must do as a detective.
Start digging. Try to anticipate trouble before it happened.
The watery march of the rotating paddles in the blue-green Nile and the steady spray gave Daniel a reassuring sense of momentum, a hope that he was getting the feel of the situation.
But was it an illusion?
Questions churned in his mind.
Was everything as it seemed?
Was he being drawn into a cleverly staged game? Or dramatic reality?
Maybe both.
