dipped back into the bag to bring out a small, thin foldout solar panel. He had
learnt, after working in parts of the world with unreliable sources of power,
to bring his own. He connected it to the laptop via a battery.
Ironic, he thought.
He
would be calling on Ra, the ancient sun god, to power a machine from the twenty
first century.
He
placed the panel under the stream of sunlight from the window, the shiny
surface flashing light across the ceiling like a mirror as he propped it up at
an angle against a rock.
Be
careful of flashes. One accidental semaphore signal could betray their presence
here...
